Making the most of a visit
- Visit on a normal school day if you can, to see lessons and playtime as they really are.
- Ask how Reception children settle in, how big the classes are, and what happens before and after school.
- Ask how the school supports children who need extra help.
- Save the schools you like to your shortlist to compare them side by side.
